His
After his routine drunken night he woke up with a fuzzy head. Slowly, last night flashed before his eyes... the screaming, the beating and her little girl huddled in a corner, shivering with fear... he sighed and resolved to change... for his wife & daughter. He staggered out but saw no one except a note.
Hers
As she sat in front of the mirror looking at her bruised body, she heard her daughter, “will baba hit me too if i disobey?” and she suddenly realised it’s time... for a change. She picked up her girl and left, leaving behind a note, ‘My daughter will not have the same fate as mine.’
