Change

This post has been published by me as a part of the Blog-a-Ton Season 2 edition 18; the eighteenth edition of the online marathon of Bloggers; where we decide and we write. To be part of the next edition, visit and start following Blog-a-Ton.
Just tried a little combination of 55 fiction genre and my 'His & Hers' series...

His

After  his routine drunken night he woke up with a fuzzy head. Slowly, last night flashed before his eyes... the screaming, the beating and her little girl huddled in a corner, shivering with fear... he sighed and resolved to change... for his wife & daughter. He staggered out but saw no one except a note.

Hers

As she sat in front of the mirror looking at her bruised body, she heard her daughter, “will baba hit me too if i disobey?” and she suddenly realised it’s time... for a change. She picked up her girl and left, leaving behind a note, ‘My daughter will not have the same fate as mine.’
